Jackie - Office Manager
Jackie handles all post-hearing issues once client have won their appeals. She reviews SSA's calculation of benefits awards and interfaces with claims representatives at Social Security offices and payment centers. She is a resourceful problem solver, who feels the most satisfying part of her job is helping clients navigate the hurdles of Social Security, once they have won their appeals. Additionally, she is also responsible for requesting medical evidence and other correspondence from doctors, tracking each appeal, and keeping our clients apprised of case status. Jackie graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland with a Masters of Arts degree in economic history and sociology. In addition, she holds a paralegal certificate from West Valley College in Saratoga, CA. Jackie has a long history of volunteering in the community and has a particular interest in the rights of the disabled. She is happy to be associated with a firm that is dedicated to getting the best results for their clients.
Vielka - Legal Assistant
Vielka is responsible for preparing cases for appeal by requesting medical evidence and other correspondence from doctors, tracking each appeal and keeping our clients apprised of case status. She holds a bachelor's of science degree in International Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from San Jose State University. She speaks fluent Spanish. Before joining our office, Vielka worked for the City of San Jose as an Administrative Assistant and at a private institution as an advisor. She enjoys making a difference in her community and is happy to be associated with a law firm that shares her dedication and enthusiasm for helping clients.
Clementina - Administrative Assistant
Clementina is responsible for preparing all of our Social Security appeals. She tracks the progress of each appeal and keeps our clients apprised of case status. Prior to coming to our law office, Clementina worked for 16 years for the State of California, Department of Developmental Disabilities, as an office technician. She also worked at California Department of Motor Vehicles. She enjoys helping clients in need of assistance due to their disability restrictions. Clementina is compassionate and caring and always eager to assist clients, who find the appeal process overwhelming. She speaks fluent Spanish and feels very rewarded knowing that she can help make a difference in someone’s life.
